Highstreet Skincare Haul

I haven't bought any skincare in the longest while as, as it says in my '2015 Resolutions' post here (<link), I've been attempting to battle through my stash before I cave in and even consider purchasing anything new. Seeing as I've been pretty good and have managed to finish quite a lot of products, I decided to give myself a little treat and try out some new skincare items, as well as pick up an old favourite of mine to reminisce! Here are the items I picked:

1) L'Oreal Paris Skin Perfection Micellar Water | £4.99 (200ml)
Amongst all the micellar water hype, this particular version seems to be that dark horse the majority tend to ignore, but the one where those who have it seem to absolutely adore it. Quite a few times too I've seen people state that they prefer this in comparison to the highly coveted Garnier Micellar Water: so I'm excited to try them both out to compare and contrast!

2) Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water | £4.99 (400ml)
Ok, ok. Shock horror! I've never used this before - so I'm excited to see what all the fuss is about! I have used Bioderma in the past and liked it, so I hope that this lives up to expectations and gets the job done just as well.

3) First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser with Red Clay | £18.00 (134g)
Yikes! I do apologise for this one. I suppose an £18 cleanser doesn't really fit into the Drugstore/Highstreet skincare category but I took these pictures before I planned the post - sorry! I've tried this out a couple of times already and first impressions? It's good, but not amazing. That being said, I've not had the opportunity to really test it out yet so I will be writing a fair review on this one at some point in the future!

4) St. Ives Invigorating Apricot Facial Scrub | £4.19 (150ml)
I used to be absolutely obsessed with this stuff. Not only did I enjoy using it on my face and neck, but I also actually enjoyed using it as a body exfoliator too! I'm looking forward to trying this out once again, to see if it is as good as I remember!

5) Garnier Fresh Eye Make-up Remover | £3.29 (125ml)
I picked this up when I was having a browse through the Micellar waters and figured it would be a good idea to pick it up. I usually take off all my make-up (eyes included) using the Lush Ultrabland cleanser (review here), however I am planning on wearing fake eyelashes on a much more regular basis and so need something to help melt away the glue. Not only will this prolong their life (usually I don't take lashes off properly and thus can't use them again), but it will also help keep them clean and keep repeated use as hygienic as possible!

& that's everything! I really hope you enjoyed this little haul from me. Eeeeeep I'm so excited! It may not seem like a lot to many, but I haven't had the chance to buy any skincare in so so long now so I'm excited to be exploring some new products! Do you have any of these skincare items? What were your thoughts? I'd love to know!
