Vaseline Spray & Go | Review

Hello everyone! Sorry I've been away for a while, but I've just been manic stressed, super busy, and have had a lot of medical tests done recently which has meant bed days have proved a whole lot more enticing than Blog days. Even though I'm not still feeling 100%, I just couldn't bare looking at my lonely, unloved page any longer - So here I am with a long over-due product review for your today! Plus, LOOK AT MY ALOE PLANT THAT I BOUGHT. Ahhhh, I love it!! Good ol' Ikea aye?

Now, I don't know what it is, but my skin has never been as dry as it has been this summer. I'm so lazy when it comes to moisturising my body, because I've never had to before, but, well, something has changed for me this year and I think it's safe to say that something needed to be done - and fast! Cue Vaseline's 'Spray & Go'. I've actually used this product for a while now, but never solely reviewed it on my blog before, so I thought it was about time to share with you all my thoughts concerning this little spray of magicalness!

There are a variety of different scents available in the Vaseline Spray & Go range, varying from a fresh aloe scent, to a deeper, more indulgent cocoa scent. I decided to pick up 'Aloe Fresh' because my intentions when buying were to use this product in the mornings after I get out the shower, when I'm in a rush and don't have time to use another, more intensive body moisturiser/butter. Whilst I do class myself as a morning person (for the most part...oops!), I'm usually extremely sensitive, so I really cannot bare anything too strong smelling - making this is absolutely perfect. Its subtle, refreshing scent calmly revitalises my mood and perks me up for the day ahead just beautifully!

I instantly fell in love with this amazing product after the first use. The moisturiser dispences itself across the skin via a fine mist, appearing on the skin as a very cool, milky lotion. Think sun-cream, but something that's a lot lighter in consistency. What I love about this is its very easy to control where the product goes, and you can apply it all over the body at the speed of lightning. All that's left to do after is to quickly rub in the lovely, soothing lotion and boom! you're ready to go! Incredible. Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of body butters, but sometimes they just take so long to apply, spread and rub in that I end up neglecting applying it most days because I usually need to be somewhere in a hurry and nobody got time fo' all that! Since I started using the Vaseline Spray & Go however, the condition of my skin has improved dramatically, as it's now getting that much needed moisture injected (eww) back in on a daily basis. No, it doesn't moisturise as well as say, a body butter would, but I was actually quite shocked at how replenished my skin actually feels just after a few uses of using such a light, fine lotion.

Overall, I'd recommend this bad boy to anyone. Even if you're absolutely chill with applying a more conditioning body moisturiser/butter on a daily basis, I reckon this could still come in handy as a mid-day freshen up or something. Although, if you're anything like me, and have almost zero patience for that type of thing, go. and. buy. this. I very rarely push people to try something, but even now that we're moving into the winter months - I still think that this will prove a staple for me. It really is a 'Spray & Go' treatment. You spray, rub in, and the solution sinks in within seconds. You're left with no greasy residue which is just fantastic, and there's none of that hanging around for five minutes whilst waiting for it to sink in. Which, actually, sounds like an amazing thought now that we are approaching winter. There's little worse than having to step about the luxuriously warm shower into the cold, crisp winter morning air, let alone having to stand around for minutes in it! Umm, no thank you! I would 110% recommend trying out this product. Plus, it's super affordable too, woohoo!

Have you tried out the Vaeline Spray & Go before? What were your thoughts?
